BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia is breathing normally, said Prof Dr AZM Zahid Hossain, a member of her personal medical team.

He was talking to reporters in front of Evercare Hospital around 8:00pm today (Monday) about the latest health condition of Khaleda Zia, who was taken to CCU of the hospital following her breathing complication this afternoon.

Dr AZM Zahid Hossain said, “I met her just a few minutes ago and  I talked to her and enquired about her health.”

“She is now in Coronary Care Unit. And patients of this unit take normal breating,” he said.

Asked about the reason of her shortness of breath, Prof Zahid Hossain said, “People may suffer shortness of breath at any time and in any situation. She is undergoing tests and doctors of the hospital are doing those collectively.”

“I will urge you all, please pray for her recovery,” he said.

Physicians shifted Khaleda Zia to CCU at 4:00pm as she suffered from shortness of breath in the morning.
